YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD TO ORDER OR RECEIVE SHIPMENT OF WINE, BEER, OR SPIRITS. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ORDERS FOR ANY REASON WITHOUT EXPLANATION. OFFERS AND EVENTS ARE SUBJECT TO LOCAL LAWS AND ARE VOID WHERE PROHIBITED, TAXED, OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
The person receiving shipment of your order must provide identification verifying that he or she is at least 21 years of age. If no one is at your address to receive the package, most carriers will make a second attempt to deliver or provide a nearby pickup address. We strongly recommend that you use a business address to assure prompt delivery.
We are located in Chicago, Illinois, and all wines, beers, and spirits are sold in Illinois and title passes to the buyer in Illinois. All sales are subject to applicable Illinois sales tax. The buyer is responsible for the delivery of the order. On the buyer's behalf, we will act as an agent to enlist a common carrier to transport the order. We make no claim to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import alcoholic beverages into any state other than Illinois. We reserve the right to refuse shipment to particular states.
Under extreme weather conditions we may choose to hold your order. Your wine will be stored in our temperature-controlled cellar until the weather moderates. If your order must arrive by a certain date, be sure to tell us on your order form. We will contact you via email or phone if we experience a problem making this deadline, but we hope you understand that we cannot guarantee the performance of the nice folks at UPS or FedEx. We'll let you know if we need to hold your shipment. We cannot be held responsible if you require shipment during or through extreme weather conditions. Because most of the wines we offer are hard to find, rare, and in limited supply, all orders are subject to availability, quantity limitations, and price changes. We try to keep the website up to date, but it is possible that we may sell out before we can process your order. If this happens, we will let you know via email or phone. We reserve the right to change prices and shipping rates without notice, and to correct errors on pricing. New products arrive daily, and it is a good idea to check our site regularly and subscribe to our email newsletter. |

| Return policy: |
All claims for shortages, incorrect product, or damage, must be made within 30 days of delivery. You must contact us first for a return authorization. Tradition in the wine business holds that all wines 10 years or older are purchased at the buyer's risk. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. After 30 days, cancelled orders are subject to a 10% restocking fee. |
